Mixed Media Meister

As an educator in a creative field, it is my obligation to assist students in critical and creative thinking processes. I intentionally educate students on both traditional and emerging/new media and, as a high school art teacher, I have the opportunity to do so. Additionally, incorporating projects emphasizing different disciplines outside of art (such as science, math, history, social studies, and literature) incorporates STEAM teaching and real world applications of art and other content areas. My graduate degree focused on my Master's of Arts in Teaching from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and I am a member of the National Art Education Association. I have taught students from ages 3 to college level throughout my career.
